Being the exclusive partner of one of the logistics companies in Egypt, we enhanced their customer experience by helping one of the biggest construction and marine services contractors to eliminate the hassle of falling behind the deadline.
The Challenge
Our client sent an urgent request on Thursday at 18:30 in Cairo, 00:30 in Kuala Lumpur, to have a shipment from Malaysia to Cairo. The first challenge was the operating hours; second challenge the days as it was to be done over the weekend. A third challenge was obtaining the shipment documents from shipper, and that was issued in Singapore.

Making all possible communications was a must in order to acquire shipping documents in such a tight deadline.

The shipment tracking was figured, and as soon as our team knew it was at our agent's hub and contacted them to redirect the shipment to Norway. The UK team managed to redirect the shipment to Norway without any added cost.

On the 26th of May, after working hours, we received a request from our client informing us about an urgent shipment that must arrive on the 28th. We had no option but to make it flawless.

Firstly; we made everyone on the same wavelength and communicated all details to our team, clearly.
Secondly; we contacted the shipper and learned that the package can only be picked up at 10:00 am.
Given very limited options for direct flights on the 27th of May, we made sure the solution provided
would suit the shipper and the consignee alike. We collected the shipment at the time advised by the shipper.
Departure was on the 27th of May at 18:35 and confirmation followed at 20:00. The shipment arrived on the same
day, on the 27th of May.
